I first met Ronnie when I was posted as a new recruit to Addington back in 1983. He was on a different watch but often took the time to talk to me and ask how I was doing. He made me feel welcome and was someone I knew I could talk to if I needed to. A good firefighter and even better bloke. RIP Ronnie and condolences to all who knew and loved him. Lee.
