We was on the original blue watch back in the earlier 1970.ron became a great friend and we had lots of get together with our young families.Ron was always a very likable and valued member of the watch.I am sure he will be missed by all of his family and friends. R I P JOHN T

I met Ron in Biggin Hill when I moved there, I never served at the same station as Ron but what a gentleman he was, as said before he loved his HP and would ride it wherever he could, he also had a lovely wife Nicky and two lovely sons. Rocket Ron will be missed so much, RIP Ron and love to all your family.

I was proud to serve with Ron on the blue watch at Norbury until my retirement in 2000.
Ron was a true gentleman who loved his hydraulic platform. We spent many hours in that old girl tearing around the streets of London. Rest in peace old friend.
